Learning how to make the perfect cup of coffee

Update: Due to demand our coffee school facility is now being made solely available to wholesale coffee customers of Caber. We would like to thank you for your interest and, if you are considering starting up a business of your own, you are most welcome to ask us for information on equipment, pop in for a chat to sample some of blends etc. Due to demand, however, we will no longer be able to provide training to the public, or to non-product customers.

Caber Coffee are delighted to announce the launch of our own, purpose built, Barista training academy, the "Caber Coffee School", the most Northerly coffee academy in the UK. We provide a range of training options at very cost-effective prices. Training is conducted by our knowledgeablestaff using the latest, top-of-the-range SanRemo equipment and is suitable for a complete novice through to an experienced Barista looking to sharpen their skills on the finest espresso making equipment.

Class sizes are small (a maximum of 6 trainees per session) to deliver the greatest value for money and lots of "hands-on" time for each trainee to make lots of coffee! You're free to work on either of our espresso machines – we’re more than happy for you to watch and learn from other trainees or get stuck in yourself on our other machine, it is very much a hands-on course.

From understanding where your coffee is grown and how it is roasted, through to cleaning your machine at the end of a day, every one of our classes is comprehensive and delivers practical results.

All of the skills we teach on our equipment are transferrable to any espresso making equipment.

We will be in touch to arrange date and time of course.
